For years, Frida Hulten has been creating necklaces and collars for dogs, observing how comfortable and happy dogs are when wearing a necklace. However, she noticed a problem - the collar had to be removed when the necklace was put on. Determined to find a solution, Hulten designed Blue, a collar that seamlessly integrates a detachable necklace.

What sets Blue apart is its versatility. Made with high-quality leather and solid brass hardware, the collar exudes a luxurious feel even without the necklace. The detachable necklace is attached securely to the collar using a clasp and a solid brass chain. This design ensures that the necklace stays in place while the dog moves and plays, thanks to a net of semi-precious stones and brass chain.

When creating Blue, Hulten prioritized both style and functionality. The collar is made from Vachetta Pesante, a high-quality vegetable-tanned leather from Toscana, ensuring durability and sustainability. The necklace features a net of semi-precious stones, including Turquoise, Emerald, Jade, Green Garnet, Lapis Lazuli, Aventurine, Garnet, Blue Gold stone, Onyx, and Swarovski crystals.

Blue is designed to be user-friendly. The collar can be worn by the dog at all times, and the necklace can be easily attached when desired. Hulten's attention to detail and commitment to quality make Blue a must-have accessory for fashion-forward dog owners.

The initial idea for Blue was conceived in March 2016 during a brainstorming session in Thailand. The finished product was completed in September 2018 in Milan, Italy. Since then, Hulten has expanded the collection, creating a range of necklaces based on the same design.

Blue has received recognition for its exceptional design. In 2020, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies, and Products for Animals category. This prestigious accolade is a testament to Blue's well-designed, practical, and innovative nature.
